McNeilage joins Northern Trust EMEA leadership team

Northern Trust Asset Management has appointed Hazel McNeilage a managing director for Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA).

As part of Northern Trust’s strategy to build relationships with institutional clients across EMEA, McNeilage is now responsible for institutional business development and relationship management in the region.

She is based in London, and reports to Wayne Bowers, head of Northern Trust Asset Management for EMEA and Asia-Pacific.

Bowers said: “[McNeilage] is a seasoned financial professional who, through her global experience and expertise, understands the particular investment needs of sophisticated institutional investors.”

He added: “[She] brings deep knowledge of asset management coupled with strong board governance experience, and her leadership will continue to position us for growth across the region.”

Previously, McNeilage was a consultant at Northill Capital, and she has also held positions at QIC and Principal Global Investors. With more than 30 years of experience in financial services, she has worked across Australia, South Africa, Asia, the US and Europe
